Terms of Service

1. Bookings & Deposits

• A deposit is required to secure all painting and decorating bookings.
  
• This is typically one-third (1/3) of the total quoted cost.
  

The deposit is used to purchase materials and becomes non-refundable once materials have been purchased.

2. Quotes & Validity

• All quotes provided are based on the information available at the time and are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
  
• If additional work is required that was not originally quoted, a revised quote will be provided.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for a minimum of 7 days’ notice.
  
• Deposits are only refundable if materials have not yet been purchased.

4. Access & Site Conditions

• You agree to provide clear access to the property during agreed working hours.
  
• The working area should be clean, clear, and safe for our team to operate in.
  
• If delays are caused due to lack of access or unsafe working conditions, additional charges may apply.

5. Payment Terms

• The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  
• Payments can be made via bank transfer. Details will be included on your invoice.

6. Warranty

• We offer a 3-month workmanship warranty from the date of completion.
  
• If you experience any issues within this period related to our work, please contact info@precisepainting.co.uk and we will arrange an inspection and remedy if appropriate.
  
• This warranty does not cover damage caused by external factors (e.g., leaks, damp, wear and tear, or client misuse).

7. Liability

• We take all reasonable care while working on your property, but we are not liable for:
  
  • Pre-existing issues or poor surface conditions
    
  • Damage caused by third parties or other contractors
    
  • Delays due to circumstances outside our control (e.g., weather, supply shortages)

8. Photography & Promotion

• We may take before and after photos of our work for portfolio or social media purposes.
  
• These images will never include personal details or identifiable information unless explicit permission is given.
